Tiger Scouts
The Tiger Scout program is for boys who are in the first grade and/or is seven years old. The boys attend meetings with their adult partner. An adult partner can be a parent, relative, or friend who is at least 18 years old.
Each den meeting and den activity is led by a den leader and an adult partner.
The Tiger Badge can only be earned during this time. Tigers earn colored beads for each of their different Achievements. These are Family Activity, Den Activity, and Go See It. They can also earn beads for their electives.

Insider hint: The Webelos are going to give you a run for the money on this pizza party! I haven't checked in on the other dens.
I just wanted to remind everyone that we will be meeting on Monday. If you can donate coffee filters (any size) or have any Holiday stamps or ink pads that we can use please bring them to the meeting. Also Remember that "Seeing a performance counts as an elective so if you go to Snow White at the Memorial School or Cinderella at the high school you can count it towards advancements

Don't forget about your den meeting at 6:00 on Monday at the Scout House.
Keep practicing your Bobcat requirements. It would be great if everyone had memorized the Cub Scut Promise and the Law of the Pack by then so they could all get their Bobcat Badge at the Pack next meeting.
If anyone has collected cans and cashed them in for the Trash to Treasure Challenge, you can hand in the money at the den meeting. The den that cashes in the most cans by the January Pack meeting will get pizza delivered to their den meeting. All money will go to the Hull Land Conservation Trust. Participation will count towards a conservation project needed to get the Leave NO Trace Award.
We have covered all parts of the Bobcat Badge (pages 29-35) but the kids should continue to practice until they can do it from memory. It is a good thing to practice in the car.

We are still looking for a Den Leader and Assistant. Den Leader for the Tigers: I will help get through the Tiger Badge but will have a second job starting next Trimester and a graduate course that begins in January so we will be looking to parents to help with the electives.

Monday, Feb 20th, 6:00 Scout House-We will be making den scrap books. I just bought 3 ring binders and sheet protectors. Things we need:
- copier/printer paper (white or colors)
- photos that can be cut & collage onto pages in the book.
- Any stickers or cool stuff to decorate the scrapbook pages or cover.
Please bring several copies so multiple kids can have it in their books
The scrapbook is the last requirement for the Tiger badge. (Be sure you have done all of the family achievements 1F-5F.) It would be helpful if parents could look at the achievements and see if there are any that they would like to run meetings around. As it gets lighter later it could be as simple as a beach clean up or playing games in the field or taking a hike. We normally meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays but if you have a great idea that will only work at a different time don't rule it out.) Or if you have any great ideas that do not relate to achievements that you would like to organize during the last few months it would probably still be wonderful.
